I'm new to the club and
having a great time. Flying R/C airplanes is a new
addiction for me and I'm hooked. I started about 6
months ago flying electric helicopters and was having a good
time with that. Then, about three months ago, I saw a
guy flying a park zone war bird at a local park. I had
to try it. So, I went to the hobby shop and picked up a
Micro P-51 and started to teach myself at a school yard by my
house. Well, many crashes, rolls of tape and tubes of
glue later, I got the hang of it. Then, I started buying
planes. My first was the Stinson pictured above. I
now have 13 planes, and three helicopters. Like I said.
I'm hooked.

This is a Mustang P-51 Micro, the plane I
taught myself to fly with. It's had a lot of tape and
glue added to it along the way, but it still flies.

Here, we see Harry's Edge 540,
the Katana SR, the Embry Riddle, and the Park Zone Extra 300
flying formation over the field during the flood. Pretty
neat flying Harry. Let us know when you are going to do it
again. I'd like to see it in person. |
